The Daggetts take the Fourth of July very seriously! Approximately 100 friends and family gather at the lake to celebrate the birthday of America. We sing patriotic songs, someone recites a portion of the Declaration of Independence, we honor veterans and bring out our playful/competitive sides with the Kayak Races. It was a beautiful day to hang with family.
Thomas having a little snack before heading to the big party. I personally think this should be used as an advertisement for Barrel O' Fun.
He is such a good sharer. Nora seems to be bummed about not getting any chips.
Lauren Ann, Tanya (she found the baby, again!) and Rylee Beth!
The kids were everywhere! Looks like they're preparing for the Yak races.
Thomas and Auntie Hannah. Hannah was able to make a quick appearance at the party before heading to work.
Lover Lover.
Thomas loves Diego the Dog.
Stinker Butt taking a little break in the hammock.
Proud to be an American.
Grandpa and Tommy John.
Ann and Pete.
The newly weds, Rob and T-JO.
On to the Yak races. This picture captures the more playful moment of this race even though this was probably the most competitive division. And the winner is...Drew Daggett.
The winner of the Northern division...Freddie.
Grandpa F and Thomas playing in the cold, wet, heavy sand. Talk about a good sensory activity! ;)
Who wore it better?! You don't need to answer. ;) Juliet (4 months) and Nora showed up in the same outfit. So cute.
Thomas had so much fun playing in the water.
He must have jumped/fell in 50 times...so cute.
So little compared to his Juliet.
Me and my best God daughter, Lily! Check out those big beautiful eyes.
Thanks to Dave and Roxann for hosting another wonderful 4th of July celebration.
God Bless America!
great work Elise!
